Stained Glass Throw

I made this throw for Brianna's birthday back in July. The yarn is Red Heart "Bikini" which is a lot of fun to work with. It's just a simple double crochet, worked only in the back loop of the stitches to get the ridged effect. I'm not sure if that shows up in the closeup. The black was done every 7 rows so that on one side they stand out as "frames" for the panes. I didn't measure it but used 3 skeins of the bikini.

WOW! That sure is nice Diane. I have that same wool, although only one small skein. I might try this for a doll blanket. I'm sure Bree is pleased with it.
